DRIVER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Nikita Mazepin 🇷🇺 and César Gazeau 🇫🇷 will share the cockpit of our third Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the International GT Open in Monza this weekend.
🇷🇺 Nikita Mazepin
The 27-year-old Russian, former Formula 1 driver, has already completed several tests with the team during the current season, getting familiar with our AMG GT3. Last month, he also made his racing debut with us in the STT at Spa, taking a commanding victory.
🇫🇷 César Gazeau
The 22-year-old Frenchman brings experience from a range of junior and GT categories. César has continued his progression into GT machinery, gaining valuable experience in endurance and sprint racing.
Now, both drivers join forces for the Monza round of the International GT Open.

Race Week. Monza is calling 🇮🇹🏁
The GT Open 500 is up next at the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza — the second endurance race on this year’s GT Open calendar. 33 cars will take on the legendary 5.793 km “Temple of Speed.” 🔥
Earlier this season, we took victory in the endurance race at Spa. Now we’re aiming for another big result in Monza, with 30 championship points on the table for the race win.
With a 23-point gap to the championship leader, the mission is clear: leave nothing on the table and fight all the way to the final round in Barcelona at the end of October 👊
The Euroformula Open is also heading into its penultimate round of the season. Championship leader Rui-Heng Yeh arrives in Monza with an 85-point advantage over Diego De La Torre. But with six races and 150 points still available, the title fight is far from over.

GT Open Race 2 ✅🇩🇪🏁
What a chaotic race. Multiple Safety Car phases, changing conditions and a track that could be dry in one corner and soaking wet in the next. 🌧️☀️
#71 Christian & Maxi were running as high as P3 at one point, but the tyre strategy didn’t quite pay off in the end. With the car outside the points, we opted for an additional tyre change — finishing P18.
#28 Marcello & Dominik had a much tougher starting position, going from P21. A consistent drive combined with a well-timed pit stop saw them climb all the way to P7 overall. 14 positions gained. Strong work. 👊🔥
Not the weekend we needed, but we’ll regroup and come back fighting.

Jesse Carrasquedo pushed hard all the way and looked for every opportunity to fight back for P1, but had to settle for a strong P2.
Diego De La Torre completed the podium, climbing from P6 on the grid to P3 after a challenging qualifying session. 🥉👏

Not quite the result we were hoping for. Grip issues throughout the race and an unfortunate Safety Car phase made things more difficult than expected.
In the end, P8 for Christian & Maxi and P9 for Marcello & Dominik.

The summer break is over and the first practice sessions at Hockenheim are in the books.
Championship leader Rui-Heng Yeh set the pace in the final Free Practice 2 session, finishing the day with the fastest time. 🔥
